Originally from Queens, Gina Cuomo began her love of cinema as a little girl. She started working in multiplexes as a teenager in Denver, CO before moving her way into the non-profit sector. In 2006, she began her journey with the Denver Film Society where she spent the next 16 years as the Director of Operations, steering the ship of their year round cinema, Sie FilmCenter, and overseeing the many film festivals under their umbrella.
Having a passion for film exhibition, Gina has been involved with the Art House Convergence, a mission-driven collection of art houses, since 2011 and resided on the Transitional Working Group for the organization during COVID-19.
Gina started Cinema Operations Consulting in 2022 and began consulting for Coral Gables Art Cinema in Miami. She oversaw operations for Vidiots Foundation in Los Angeles, helping them open their year round theatre and video store in 2023. Gina also consulted for the Coolidge Corner Theatre in Boston and oversaw the operations for their expansion in 2024.
Aside from her love of the cinematic experience, Gina is an avid baseball fan and a loyalist to the hit television phenomenon LOST.
